Stamford Town Plan Update
Stamford was awarded an FY 2026 Municipal Planning Grant from the State of Vermont to develop a new municipal plan with support from the BCRC. BCRC will work with the Stamford Planning Commission to conduct community outreach throughout the spring and summer of 2026, which will be used to draft a new plan that also meets state standards.
Goals of the project:
- Develop a cohesive roadmap for the future of Stamford, informed by resident input
- Establish a foundation for future zoning bylaw updates
- Identify community and economic development opportunities in the designated village center
- Address new state requirements
